Stir Crazy!

Ok...so last week (Wednesday to be exact) I had surgery on my sinuses. I'm off work ill until after Easter...but I've been home for a week now...and I'm starting to feel a bit better but I'm going a bit stir crazy! I tried to go for a little walk today just to get some fresh air but couldn't do it...I got a little light headed (more than usual...) and turned around and came home...I didn't even make it 100 meters down the road! I hate being ill...I still have another week before I can go back to work...but that falls on Good Friday...so won't be going back to work for ages.

We're moving on Easter weekend as well...I get to "supervise" which means...I get to do nothing but boss everyone around! Great fun! I'm really looking forward to our new place...a house...with a garden! Oh yeah...and quiet...it's 10:30 in the evening and our neighbours have loud music thumping away...grrrrr! Good thing I'm not trying to sleep!

I've laughed so much tonight. I've been chatting with Yvonne and we've been reminiscing on our "Past life" when we were teenagers. Gosh...the stuff we got up to!

I've also started planning my Hen weekend. I think it's going to be a City Break sometime then end of September...If you have any ideas...let me know. Just me and the girls...will be such a laugh!

I've had a really good day...I've laughed quite a bit...it's made me feel SO much better! Even if it does squish my cheeks a bit where they still a bit sore...but it's true...Laughter is good for the soul! So start laughing already!

Lets Start Again...

Well, As its been years since I've seen anyone on here...I thought I would start by letting people I used to know that even though you have more than likely forgotten about me...I am still alive and kicking (well at least Alive...)

I would like to thank Yvonne for being such a good influence on me...I just hope I can manage to keep up with Blogging...although my life is far too dull...who would read? But Yes...after years and years of not being in contact with peps from Edmonton...I am now in contact with Yvonne again...weird how time passes so quickly!

Just quickly...I'm now living in England...just north of London and I'm an Information Management consultant...or my official title is Customer Solutions Architect...which means...well...I'm an IT nerd...sorry...I'm engaged to a very lovely English bloke and we are due to be married in February of next year (not this year as its march now...). We don't have kids...and are planning on moving back to Canada eventually...Drop us a line...I would love to hear from you!

Here is a picture of me and my Smiley...it is a year old but such a great picture anyways...this was at Richards (Smiley's) Brothers wedding last year.

We still look the same...pretty much...my hair is longer as I'm growing for our wedding and I'm slightly a bit more chubbier...(I must start running again!)
